GENERAL CARPENTER

 

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Do you have proficient building skills and enjoy an amusement park scene? Well, this may be the career for you!  This is a full-time hourly position. Hours and work schedule vary depending upon business needs.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is a full-time position with shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm averaging from 8 to 10 hours per day, 5 to 6 days per week with some evening and weekend hours required
  • Erect, Install, fabricate, repair structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, moldings, doors, cabinetry, flooring and trim
  • Prep and finish surfaces such as wood and drywall
  • Must have analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints
  • Requires working in a semi-indoor, indoor air conditioned and outdoor environment
  • Requires good verbal, phone, radio, email and in person skills and relate to people in a friendly professional manner
  • Must be dependable, reliable, prompt, efficient, trustworthy, adaptable, organized and be a team player
  • Assume other duties as needed and as workload dictates

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent vocational school
  • Minimum of 4-year experience in the general construction field and be willing to be part of the Team
  • A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License

  • Candidate must be able to professionally interact with customers & industry professionals
  • Regularly required to frequently lift items up to 50 pounds as well as occasional bending, kneeling, sitting and overhead reaching 
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, proficient with hand and power tools
